Antigone is a strong woman, slightly rebellious and stubborn. I first got this impression of her when she comes to her sister, Ismene to ask for her help in the illegal burial of their brother. Antigone is proposing to go against the will of Creon and to bury their brother where she sees fit. Ismene is hesitant but Antigone will not take no for an answer. Ismene realizes this and exclaims, "You're so headstrong. Creon has forbidden it". Ismene will not budge but Antigone is so set on burying him that she decides to just go and do it herself. She even adds, "...shout it out. I will hate you still worse for silence-should you not proclaim it to everyone". Not only does Antigone defy the gods, she doesn't care who finds out about it. This shows extreme bravery, especially from a woman of her time.
Before she goes out to bury him, Antigone basically breaks it off with her fiance, for what seemed like no reason. It was the that I began to question her character. While burying her brother and pushing to save the family name are honorable, breaking things off with a fiance for no reason is not. This was a very irrational decision on her part. Once again her sister Ismene tries to talk her out of it but being the stubborn woman she is, Antigone will not even listen.
Once at the grave site she begins to dig and is then caught by the royal guards. They then precede to take her to Creon where she is sent to her room. Although as noble as her intentions are to protect her brother, Antigone needs to learn from her sister and to think more before she acts. If Antigone keeps up this behavior then I believe it will get her into a lot more trouble later on in the story.

Bartleby....
After reading the story of Bartleby, the Scrivener, I have come to to the conclusion that Bartleby is mentally ill. Although this story is told in the first person perspective of a narrator, which could be considered unreliable, I still believe it to be true.
If Bartleby were to exist in today's society then he would most likely have a Facebook. His profile picture would just be him, by himself, taking a picture in a bathroom with the mirror. There would be no others in this picture because he has no friends. He would be in the bathroom taking the mirror picture because I find it weird when people do this and I believe Bartleby to be a strange man. He would have no pictures tagged of him or any other photos at all.
His friends would consist solely of his coworkers, the only people he knows. The wall of his page would have a few impersonal messages from Nippers and Turkey. Bartleby would have two applications, Spark and Bumper sticker. He would have Spark because he is lonely and seeking companionship and does not have the personality or time for real dating. He is deathly afraid of talking to women so cyber dating is his only option. He would have Bumper sticker because Ginger Nut made him add it. Ginger is the only one that ever gives Bartleby stickers.
If one were to browse through his past statuses they would find him to be depressing. They would say things like Bartleby is tired or Bartleby is working. He would have no comments on his statuses because nobody cares enough about him.
Bartleby would spend much time however, Facebook stalking others. He would never comment or write messages but he loves to look through people's photo albums and wish he could be more like them, more normal.
After Bartleby dies in the end everybody in the office would just go along with their daily routines. Nobody would create a Facebook group in remembrance of him.
